Our Beaches are among the finest on the New South Wales North Coast, ideal for swimming, surfing & fishing.

The City itself, just South of Newcastle,  consists of a wide diversity of towns around the Lake and provides all the amenities that a large City offers .... Shopping Centres & Malls, Cinemas, Golf Courses, Restaurants, etc., etc. while still maintaining that small coastal village feel and atmosphere.

All our properties are in Eastern Lake Macquarie, a narrow strip of land running between the Lake and the Pacific Ocean and, while we divide our properties into either "Lakeside" or "Beachside", all are within 5 - 10 mins. drive from either.

All this and more  just ninety minutes drive from Sydney.

On The Lake

Fishing. ....The fishing is great with a wide variety being caught, including Flathead, Whiting and Bream. Prawning .... When the Moon is right, prawns can be scooped up along the lake's edge. Crabbing .... In Season, Blue Swimmer Crabs abound.  Boating .... Bring your own or hire anything from a "tinnie" to a Cruiser from the many Marinas around the Lake. Sailing .... Lake Macquarie is renowned as one of the finest  Lakes in the World for sailing. Wind sailing .... With varying wind conditions all year round, wind sailing is a popular pastime. Kayaking ....  With sandy foreshores, just drop your canoe into the water. Kite Surfing .... An ever increasing sport with selected bays around the Lake where you'll see both amateurs and professionals alike testing their skills. Water Skiing .... Space is never a problem. Jet Skiing .... There are dozens of boat ramps and sandy beaches around the lake where you can launch your ski and few restrictions on their use. Swimming ...... Sandy edges and both shallow and deep water for adults and children alike.

By the Lake

Picnicking .... Grassed foreshores, secluded bays, - your choice for a BBQ or picnic. Walking .... Stroll around the lake's edge or use the walking tracks around the the Lake or amble through the Bushland Reserves. Bike Riding .... A popular activity with dedicated bike paths throughout the area. Fishing .... No need to hire a boat, just cast out off the shore. Relaxing .... They say life was not meant to be easy, but try it anyway. Playing .... There are a number of parklands around the Lake with playground equipment and plenty of space to kick or throw a ball or have a game of cricket.

By the Sea

Swimming, Surfing, Kite Surfing & Sail Boarding .... Take your choice from Caves Beach, Blacksmiths Beach, Redhead Beach, Catherine Hill Bay and more. ... Fully patrolled or long sun soaked deserted stretches of sand. Picnic & BBQs.... Grassy reserves beside the beaches provide all the amenities you need. Fishing .... beach, rock, breakwater, estuary or deep sea fishing are all at your fingertips.  Exploring .... Wander over the many rock pools, caves, long deserted beaches and Sand Dunes in the area. Relaxing .... Take an umbrella & towel and soak up the rays to the backdrop of the waves washing up the beach.
