The SurfSpray
pavilions each
feature two master bedrooms with additional single double decker bunks in one
of the rooms. Both
bedrooms have interconnected direct bathroom access.
Ideal for one or 2 couples or the smaller family.
With open plan
living and solid hardwood polished floors, SurfSpray has ceiling fans to
compliment the cooling afternoon sea breezes in the Summer, while, for the
cooler months there's a wood fired stove for warmth and that romantic
feel.
Large Stack-a-Doors
open off the living area and lead out onto the large undercover deck area, bringing
the outdoors, indoors. Both the living room and deck look down to the beach 150
metres away,
The kitchens are a
chef's delight with granite bench-tops and Italian appliances, gas cook-tops,
including a wok gas ring and oven pizza stone, with everything
you need to cook up a storm. If outdoor living
is more your style there s also a large gas BBQ on the deck with outdoor
furniture for al fresco dining.
All your
entertainment desires are fulfilled with large wide flat screen TV. DVD & CD
players and full
stereo sound from speakers mounted into the ceilings
There is
separate undercover parking at both pavilions and the property is surrounded by well maintained yards on
all sides, giving the sense of space and privacy. There is also a separate
laundry.
Catherine Hill Bay.
60 minutes
north of Hornsby, south of Swansea and Caves Beach, you will find historical
Catherine Hill Bay. A coal mining village, dating from the late 1800’s, nestled
into the hills overlooking the Pacific Ocean and just a stones throw from Lake
Macquarie. This is the perfect place to escape from the cut and thrust of city
life, to simply relax and unwind.
Whether you
enjoy bushwalking, surfing, swimming, beach / lake / rock fishing, strolling
along a deserted beach or just getting stuck into a good book, this is the place
for you.
The only
commercial establishment in Catherine Hill Bay village is the original,
weatherboard pub, affectionately known as “The Catho”. On Friday and Saturday
evenings and Sunday afternoon it hosts a variety of bands to entertain you while
you enjoy some pub grub or just an ice cold drink.
The Beach is famous for its surf
and is patrolled during the Summer months by the dedicated local Life Saving
Club.
You will find a late closing
Supermarket at Swansea as well as Banks, small shops, video hire, Clubs,
Restaurants and Take-Aways.
