Property Description

FREE WiFi. Sand, Surf and Fun right at your front door! This beautifully presented cottage is directly opposite stunning Blacksmiths Beach, the Swansea Blacksmiths Surf Lifesaving Club and is also a short walk to the local attraction known as "Grannys Pool" (a safe swimming area for younger children). 

With a playground also situated in the park across the road, as well as BBQ and picnic areas you will be assured your kids will be fully entertained - making this a great holiday for parents too! The property is fully fenced for your peace of mind and there is plenty of lawn for your kids to play outside and enjoy the sunshine. There is even a games room in the garage with TV and lounges and a large book collection for the avid reader.

Walk into the property and you will immediately feel relaxed and in holiday mode. The living area is decorated tastefully in aqua tones with a coastal theme and included comfortable lounge, flat screen TV and a sound system for your enjoyment. It is a bright and airy space, just perfect for you to relax after a great day on the water.

Featuring two bedrooms this home can sleep up to 5 guests. The master bedroom has a Queen sized bed and the second bedroom includes a tri-bunk (double bed on the bottom and single bed on top). The Master bedroom has a ceiling fan and all beds feature quality bedding for your sleeping comfort.


The kitchen is modern, with a stainless steel fridge, stove, microwave oven and smeg toaster and kettle and all the facilities needed for your home away from home. The dining table is situated close to the kitchen to make entertaining easy. This area is also air conditioned for your comfort.

The bathroom is also modern and features a bath, shower and vanity and laundry facilities are situated at the rear of the property. The fenced backyard with BBQ, outdoor dining table and hammock is the perfect space to soak up the salty sea air and unwind. 



Lake Macquarie is well known for great fishing, 4WDing, sailing and also the best surfing beaches around.

Blacksmiths is conveniently located on the seaside of Eastern Lake Macquarie, between the lakeside towns of Swansea and Belmont. It still retains the relaxed beach-side village vibe of yesteryear, however the necessities of modern life are still close by. 

This wonderful home is close to local shops, and only 20 minutes to Charlestown Square (cinema and major shopping outlets and restaurants)

Security Deposit

To ensure our properties are treated fairly, guests are required to agree to abide by our House Rules by electronically signing our Registration Form regarding a Security Bond prior to arrival. The Security Bond for this property is: 500.00 AUD($) .

Booking Cancellation Policy

We understand that sometimes things happen that are beyond your control and we will endeavour to work towards a solution that is satisfactory for both yourself and our property owner. Generally our Refund Policy is -

Non peak periods.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of booking -Cancellation fee of $75.00 applies to cover our bank & merchant fees.

Cancellations made 4 or more weeks before the arrival date - Cancellation fee of $75.00 applies to cover our bank & merchant fees.

Cancellations made 4 weeks or less before the arrival date – Cancellation fee of the full deposit applies unless the property is re-booked for the full period of the booking. If the property is re-booked, the deposit, less a $75 cancellation fee, will be refunded.

The booking and deposit may be moved to other dates, provided it is for the same or more number of nights and for the same property, without charge (The tariff may change, subject to the time of the year and number of guests).

Peak periods.

Public holidays including Long Weekends, NSW School Holidays, Easter, Christmas, the State SLS Championships and Special Events.

Cancellations made 12 weeks or more before the arrival date –- Full deposit unless property is rebooked. If the property is re-booked a $200 cancellation fee then applies.

Cancellations made 12 weeks or less before the arrival date – Full deposit unless property is re-booked. If the property is re-booked a $500 cancellation fee then applies.

Part cancellations will not be accepted and final payment is payable 6 weeks prior to arrival.

All reservations are made in good faith by us but may be subject to changes in circumstances that are beyond our control. Every reasonable effort will be made to offer alternative accommodation should this occur.

Please note that we cannot accept Bank Transfer payments for new reservations or final payments made within 6 days of arrival.

* Reservations made via third party on-line travel sites such as Airbnb, Booking.com, Stayz, etc., may incur cost recovery charges for booking fees and commissions charged by these sites. This is outside of Lakeshores control.
