With plenty of charm and character, this older style 3-bedroom cottage has disputedly some of the best views of Lake Macquarie. No doubt you will feel relaxed in this home – with its retro carpet, ping pong table and comfortable furnishings, this home is ideal for families or friends looking for a budget holiday without giving up location, amenities or views. Oh, and don’t forget to sign the guest wall!


With Free Wifi, Netflix, Apple TV, BBQ, fully equipped kitchen and uninterrupted Northerly views of Swan Bay, this home offers something special along with plenty of character. Maintaining a lot of its original features, this loved home is the perfect escape from the busy city life. While yes, the home is old, it is spacious and airy, with views to die for. This home will not disappoint with what this location has to offer.


With access to the boat shed directly on the lakes edge, it is the perfect place to sit, relax and unwind with a glass of wine or your morning coffee, watch the sunset, cast a line and or enjoy some water activities. The Marks Point Marina is only 100m away so bring your boat! (Please note there is no parking for a trailer on the property).


This home is ideal for groups of friends or small families. As soon as you walk into the home, you are greeted by the amazing lake views which opens out into the cosy lounge room. The lounge room has plenty of seating and a Smart TV with Apple TV. It is the perfect place to relax of an afternoon. The rumpus room in the center of the house has a ping pong table, dart board and you can even write a message on the guest wall! Complete with band posters, this is a fun area for friends and kids.


Sleeping 7 people, there is 1 queen, 2 double beds and a single bed. The main bedroom with queen bed has built in and water views. The bathroom has a toilet, vanity and shower over bath. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need or if you’d prefer to cook outdoors, there is a gas BBQ for your use. Enjoy a meal at the dining table and watch the sunset. There is also a fully equipped laundry for your use.


Head down the garden path to the boat shed and swing open the doors to reveal the lakes edge. This area is perfect to fish, kayak or paddleboard or just relax with the sounds of the water lapping at your feet.


Please note: The house is on a steep block with narrow steps. Please be careful, especially in wet weather. We do not recommend this home for people with limited access. Parking is on the grassed area at the top of the driveway but is only available for one car. Parking is available on-street.


Dog Friendly - Indoors only. NOTE: The yard is not fenced.

Security Deposit

To ensure our properties are treated fairly, guests are required to agree to abide by our House Rules by electronically signing our Registration Form regarding a Security Bond prior to arrival. The Security Bond for this property is: 500.00 AUD($) .

Booking Cancellation Policy

In order to protect yourselves and our community we urge you to download and activate the Federal Government's COVID-Safe App.

We recommend that you take out Travel Insurance to cover unexpected illness, accidents, weather events, natural disasters or other unforeseen circumstances.

COVID-19 pandemic (as of 13th September 2021)

**We may require all guests over the age of 16 be double vaccinated against covid19 (per government orders) **

If you or one of your group will not be fully vaccinated at this time, your booking may be cancelled or the unvaccinated person not able to travel and stay. This is out of our control and we will be guided by the Dept of Health at that time. NOTE: It is the responsibility of the person booking the accommodation to ensure all people in the group are fully vaccinated and able to travel. Lakeshores will not be held responsible if unvaccinated guests are unable to stay.

We understand circumstances are changing rapidly. If you have an existing booking with us made prior to 15th Sept), arriving within the next 14 days and you can no longer travel due to travel or vaccination restrictions that have been applied by any State Government, we will treat your Reservation as a Frustrated Contract - neither party at fault. We will apply the ACCC rules for frustrated contracts and will either move or postpone your reservation to a later date at no additional admin charge (seasonal rate changes may apply) or issue a refund on the full amount less a cancellation fee of 30%. We will also issue a similar refund for the total nights not stayed if the Government brings in new restrictions that reduces the length of a current stay.

Cancellations will not be accepted based on travel warning advice only, there must be mandated order.

Please note that we cannot accept Bank Transfer payments for new reservations or final payments made within 6 days of arrival.

Our Standard Refund Policy -

Non-peak periods

Cancellations made within 24 hours of booking- Cancellation fee of $75.00 applies to cover our bank & merchant fees.

Cancellations more than 4 weeks before the arrival date- Cancellation fee of $75.00 applies to cover our bank & merchant fees.

Cancellations less than 4 weeks before arrival date– Cancellation fee of the full deposit applies unless the property is re-booked for the full period of the booking. If the property is re-booked, the deposit, less a $75 cancellation fee, will be refunded.

The booking and deposit may be moved to other dates, provided it is for the same or more number of nights and for the same property, without charge (The tariff may change, subject to the time of the year and number of guests).

Peak periods

Public holidays including Long Weekends, NSW School Holidays, Easter, Christmas, the State SLS Championships and Special Events.

Cancellations more than 12 weeks before the arrival date– Full deposit unless property is rebooked. If the property is re-booked a $200 cancellation fee applies.

Cancellations less than 12 weeks before the arrival date– full deposit unless the property is rebooked for the full period of the booking for at least the same tariff. If the property is able to be re-booked a $200 cancellation fee applies.

Cancellations made less than 4 weeks before the arrival date – Cancellation fee of the full amount.

Part cancellations will not be accepted. The final payment is payable 6 weeks prior to arrival.

All reservations are made in good faith by us but may be subject to changes in circumstances that are beyond our control. Every reasonable effort will be made to offer alternative accommodation should this occur.

* Reservations made via third party on-line travel sites such as Airbnb, Booking.com, Stayz, etc., may incur cost recovery charges for booking fees and commissions charged by these sites adn different to the above policies. This is outside of Lakeshores' control.

Booking Modification Policy

Please contact us if you require any changes to your booking including the number of guests, address or phone numbers, or date changes.

We will endeavour to assist where we are able. There may be a change in rate depending on the seasonal rates and number of guests. We do not accept partial cancellations of days or guest numbers.

Booking Children Policy

There are no charges for babies & toddlers up to 2 years.
