Property Description

FREE WiFi. This roomy family home sits on a large, private, waterfront reserve and has everything included to ensure a that you have the perfect holiday escape. With Wifi, private swimming pool, spa bath and spectacular lake views, Wemberley Lakehouse will not dissapoint.


The living and dining area opens onto the back deck, which looks down over the lawns to the lakes edge - the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or glass of wine and watch the beautiful sunsets. The open living areas with air conditioning, smart TV fireplace and fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge, oven and microwave. There is also a BBQ outside. 


The large rumpus room has a ping pong table and plenty of books for those rainy days, or if the sun is out, enjoy the inground private swimming pool. 


The 4 bedroom house sleeps 8 people - with the master bedroom with queen bed having its own ensuite and windows looking to the lake. There is also another bedroom with queen bed and two bedrooms each with two single beds. The main bedroom has a spa bath. 


Take a leisurely stroll along the lake's edge to the Wangi Workers Club for dinner and entertainment or a walk down to the shops where there is a small grocery store, bakery, takeaway shop, cafe and thai restuarant. There are also plenty of nature walks to enjoy the tranquil views and the Watagan Mountains are a short drive away.

  • Take a 30 minute drive around the Lake to one of the many outstanding Beaches at Lake Macquarie.

  • The Hunter Valley Vineyards are less than 45 minutes drive whilst the Central Coast is less than 30 minutes drive or "Best Tours" conduct winery tours and will collect and return you back to Silver Waters. CANCELLATIONS

We understand that sometimes things happen that are beyond your control where you may need to cancel your reservation with us and, whilst we will endeavour to work towards a solution that is satisfactory for both yourself and our property owner, we have strict Seasonal Cancellation Deadlines which are applicable. We, therefore, recommend that you take out Travel Insurance to cover unexpected illness, accidents, weather events, natural disasters or other unforeseen circumstances.

Our Refund Policy -

Non peak periods

Cancellations made within 24 hours of booking- Cancellation fee of $75.00 applies to cover our bank & merchant fees.

Cancellations made 4 or more weeks before the arrival date- Cancellation fee of $75.00 applies to cover our bank & merchant fees.

Cancellations made 4 weeks or less before the arrival date– Cancellation fee of the full deposit applies unless the property is re-booked for the full period of the booking. If the property is re-booked, the deposit, less a $75 cancellation fee, will be refunded.

The booking and deposit may be moved to other dates, provided it is for the same or more number of nights and for the same property, without charge (The tariff may change, subject to the time of the year and number of guests).

Peak periods

Public holidays including Long Weekends, NSW School Holidays, Easter, Christmas, the State SLS Championships and Special Events.

Cancellations made 12 weeks or more before the arrival date– Full deposit unless the property is rebooked. If the property is re-booked a $200 cancellation fee then applies.

Cancellations made 12 weeks or less before the arrival date– full deposit unless the property is rebooked for the full period of the booking for at least the same tariff. If the property is re-booked a $200 cancellation fee then applies.

Cancellations made 4 weeks or less before the arrival date – Cancellation fee of the full amount.

Part cancellations will not be accepted and the final payment is payable 6 weeks prior to arrival.

All reservations are made in good faith by us but may be subject to changes in circumstances that are beyond our control. Every reasonable effort will be made to offer alternative accommodation should this occur.

COVID-19 pandemic

“Book with Confidence” Guarantee for new bookings from 15 May 2020

We understand that circumstances can change rapidly. If you have an existing booking or make a reservation on one of our homes from the 15 May 2020, you are eligible under our Book with Confidence guarantee for a full refund of the total amount paid if you can no longer travel due to restrictions that have been applied by the NSW Government. We will also issue a full refund for the total nights not stayed if the Government brings in new restrictions that affect that stay.

 Please note, in circumstances that cancellation requests caused by restrictions applied to other events or businesses other than accommodation (sporting and social events, etc) occur, we may require proof that these restrictions are the reason for the cancellation request (i.e, copies of tickets or invitations with event date).

 

Please note that we cannot accept Bank Transfer payments for new reservations or final payments made within 6 days of arrival.
