Sit and relax on the front verandah of this classic Miners Cottage and watch the world pass by or ride a few waves on one of the best surfing beaches in Australia.

The 2 bedrooms each have a comfy queen size bed, making this the ideal home for two couples or a small family to holiday at the beach or a romantic getaway. With plenty of outdoor seating and BBQ, the yard opens out on a beautiful nature reserve. The backyard is huge with plenty of space.

The practical kitchen has a cooktop, oven, full sized fridge and is fully equipped for everything you need if you prefer to cook on your holidays.

The bathroom is combined with the laundry with washing machine and has a shower over bath and toilet. There is also a second toilet outside.

The living area has plenty of seating and a flat screen TV, while a large dining room provides a place to eat in comfort. There are plenty of board games, DVD and even a keyboard.

There is plenty of offstreet parking for two cars and a boat and is a minutes drive to the patrolled beach or you can walk through the dunes to the wide expanse of the Bay itself!

The entire front is glass, with sweeping water views through the trees. You'll be visited by myriad native birds, including kookaburras, lorikeets, butcher birds, cockatoos, galahs, and magpies. 'Pirama' is the word for 'wild duck' in the local Awabakal language and it won't take you long to work out why – you'll see families with ducklings wandering across the road and down to the waterfront. 

This home feels a mile from nowhere but the local conveniences are just down the road. The home is perfect for that relaxing getaway for a family or two couples. With the living area opening onto a deck area and the waterfront reserve and 180-degree water views. Here you can sit back and enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine, or just reading a book under the shade of the trees. 

The house is built on two levels. Open-plan living area, kitchen, and bathroom are on the ground level, along with a bedroom with a double bed and a single. Wander to the water’s edge for a spot of fishing. The water is shallow around this area of the lake and sandy-bottomed which is perfect for kids, swimming, and fishing. A few minute's walk from the house is Sandy Beach, with BBQs, picnic tables and playgrounds, and a designated swimming area.

The home is an easy 20-minute walk along the lake's edge to Summerland Point shopping center, where you'll find a convenience store, a bakery, and coffee shop, bottle shop, restaurants, takeaway, and more. Across the road from the shops are a boat-launching ramp, picnic area, and playground.
